These are absolutely the best crab scissors I've ever had. The hook on back of one of the blade is perfect for those small legs, and the built-in cracker just above the handle tackles the claw without complaint. Rather than switching between regular scissors and a tiny fork to scrape the meat out, I'm able to continuously use these scissors to effortlessly shell all of my crab, plucking the meat from the neatly cut legs without skipping a beat. I purchased one to see how it worked and was so impressed I bought three more so that we can have four on the table. Cutting the shells is much more effective than crushing them and the shears come apart to use them as a pick. The fact they come apart is also good so they are easy to clean.
